The all-aluminium 4.7 litre XK engine makes perfect sense, removing a substantial amount of weight from a critical position within the chassis, improving and enhancing driving dynamics.

Combined with our aluminium gearbox and aluminium differential, you have a substantial decrease in overall weight that has led to the Eagle Lightweight Speedster weighing only 1008 kg.

We have used our special 4.7 internals in Eagle E-Types, offering a substantial increase in power and considerable torque. The crankshaft, pistons and con rods all contribute to an exceptional driving experience. Now with the aluminium cylinder block we have pushed the envelope in terms of the power to weight ratio.

Developed in conjunction with renowned specialists Crosthwaite and Gardiner, the block was cast and machined and then prepared in our 'surgically clean'  XK Engine Facility.

The results can be clearly seen in the reaction to the performance of the Eagle Lightweight Speedster.
